I Hate Artists - Frequently Asked Questions.
A short FAQ to answer some questions I have recieved thus far about this project. I may eventually add some kind of art faq to this as well. Questions sent to the contact form may end up here as well; without names of course.
Q: Doesn't the I Hate Artists concept offend your artist peers?
A: It's hard to say. If they understand the concept and can respect it, then probably not. If they look at it at face value alone, then they may be. None of my friends in my personal life have been offended by the concept, however.
Q: Doesn't the I Hate Artists concept also make you a hypocrite, since you are an artist yourself?
A: I'm sure you have heard of a police officer breaking the law to get his conviction. I'm no more a hypocrite than he is. I would consider it a higher level of passion; a will to go beyond what others will not. The urge to make a stand and say that I want my art to be viewed in a different light, and I will do it here, and you can come here to see it and join me.
